Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her roles as a lead actress in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles on film. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian and American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. When Emily realized her love for acting, she took training in acting classes and went to auditions. After a few successful commercials she was quickly booked in the Canadian Kids' Horror TV show Are You scared to be in the Dark? In one scene, she appeared without speaking any words. At the age 15, Emily got her first big break as she was part of the WB show Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was previously ranked by Teen to be one of their most popular actresses under the age of 20. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
