Richard B. Cheney an eminent public servant and entrepreneur is the vice-president of the United States. Cheney has become a regular face on the Washington political scene, has served under several U.S. presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. He will serve as the fourth president and will be the elected president. Bush has appointed Cheney as his vice-presidential candidate in the year 2000 due to the shrewdness and wisdom of Cheney. Dick Cheney, who served as the United States as the chief of staff and secretary in the administration of a president, as well as in Congress has been a great serving our country. Republicans as well as Democrats alike respect Cheney for his integrity. Cheney says the role he plays within the administration as one of an honest but professional adviser to Bush. Cheney declared his delight at accepting the Republican vice-presidential nomination. He said that the future is bright for him working with a person who is able to collaborate with those who have different political views and with shared goals. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, Richard moved his family from Nebraska to Casper which was where his dad worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservation district.
